Take a stroll around Benalla's rose gardens or the boardwalk around the lake, taking in the Weary Dunlop memorial and Art Gallery as you go. For the history buffs, there is the legend of Ned Kelly and his famous route or, for the wine buffs, there are many top class wineries within a short driving distance to enjoy. For those that appreciate cars, Winton Motor Raceway regularly holds events, whether car club, the V8 supercars or as part of the national racing circuit. If something more adventurous is what you crave, why not visit the Benalla Gliding Club, Victoria 's renowned gliding centre, and learn to glide?
